I raced a Dodge SRT-4 the other day. From 30mph I got him by about a car length but then he started to catch me. At about 80 when I got out of it he had it down to less than 1/2 a car length. My L is still stock, but that was one quick little car. The guy was surprised at the L, he said he knew of them but didn't realize how fast they were. :bows He said he also loved the supercharger whine. knana
I went on the Dodge website and this car makes 230hp/250lb tq out of a 2.4 liter motor with a top speed of 148(rev limited).
I can't wait til I get a few mods on the L to surprise a few more people. :twitch:

Those srt-4 respond real nice to mods and a slightly increase in boost. I had one hand me my ass the other day. But i did spin nasty out of the line. :hammer:

I've seen those little bastards click off 12s with a few mods. Those things are pretty quick, and considering they weigh next to nothing...well, you know what HP + light weight equals.

Yeah, I had a bright ass yellow one keep up with me too. He was obviously pleased with himself, but I just kept thinking, "You're in a NEON!?"

Raced one today on my way back from Little Elm. We raced from a 50 roll..........:throw:
It was ugly, I slowed down to 50 mph on 35w to wait for him but he would'nt get back up beside me:rll: After the race I realized I was the real looser because I wasted about 4 dollars in gas.

I think you guys with mods, may want to work on your trucks a bit more. That little car is fast...but it should not be able to keep up with a Lightning having the mods you guys are showing.
At least Jeff upheld the family name.........way to go Jeff.

I smoked a yellow one, onenight. I know he was slightly modded. Him and another red one are nicely modded. They wont say what but everyone knows they have more under the hood.
We raced from a dead stop. Both of us spun nicely  He hooked up first and im still spinning :burnout: . He gains a tad then i hook and im gone. Thats also the night I met Jeff. :tu:

Not long ago on one of the builder TV shows they took a stock SRT-4 and put an upgraded turbo and engine management system on it. Different exhaust too since the stock exhaust is built specifically for the stock turbo. They got 350FWHP... they didn't have to go inside the engine at all. I've read articles about this motor and it is pretty stout.
One came up beside my wife and I and he had his blow off valve set weird... under normal acceleration... every shift was a woooosh. Not bad... just didn't car for the glow coming out from under the car... neon light kit... ARGH.
