FYI, one of the best sports bars in Norman is

Vista Sports Grill
111 N. Peters (Norman) 405-447-0909

They don't have HBO/PPV, though.

It's on like the 8th or 9th story of a bank bldg. in downtown Norman. One of my favorite hangouts while in college. Plenty of big-screens, good beer/food and OU hotties. :bows

So is there an official plan for this weekend? Who is going up on Saturday and when? What hotels? Etc......
The track website has listings for nearby hotels if anyone needs to find one.
And does anyone want to go early enough to race in the Sat. afternoon race?

Oh yeah, hopefully i don;t have to hear the gloating at work, from the vette drivers this time. Seems like last TMCC, one of the L's lost to a Vette. that Vette driver just happen to be married to a lady I work with. She let me know the L's were there, and that her husband beat one!

Actually she was pretty impressed these trucks do so good at there, and said her husband even said if the L driver had had even a decent reaction time on teh light, The L would have won. Looks like there a little sleeping under the Christmas tree!

Good Luck to all of you going to TMCC! I'm off to race in the mud!

Anyone else....? Remember that the team needs 6 trucks to be able to run the race of champions (worthless additional race, no $$$). If you do not help your team, you do not help America.
:D And you want to help America, don't you?!

One of the highlights from today's event. Got to see JustinL (Oklahoma City) run a 9.91.

Adam and I made it through three rounds and Michael made it through four today. Pics are in the gallery under Talons 2004 Events / TMCC. We all three lost in different ways. Adam didn't run his number, Michael broke out, and I redlighted (-.007). But we still had a good time. JustinL and his buddy showed up and layed down three good runs (9.95, 9.91, and 10.09).
