I found this over at NLOC, what do you think? Don't know how true this is.

I don't like them at all. I would love to get some '03 Cobra wheels on my L though.

I haven't decided yet. I just saw these posted on online today. I guess I'm getting over the initial shock. It took a while for the '01 wheels to grow on me and now they are my favorites hands down over the 99-00s.

I have to digest this for a while.

Those things won't grow on sheeyot. Please say it aint so!

Just nasty. The chrome 01-02 rims blow those things away.

Those thigns are ugly...look like some cheap MOMO knockoffs :(

I still prefer the '99-'00 wheels over all :)

I kinda like them. I think it'd be an improvement, since the '01-'02 wheels never have grown on me. Time for me to duck now.

I respect no style opinon from someone who hauls large round bails of hay in their Lightning and an engine bay dirtier than a John Deere. Now if that same person had 30 or so personel under him that could give me nothing but greif 24/7 in my home town. I would agree with him totally:D

Note to self: Do not irritate and always agree with the Sgt. At Arms...

Actually, it's a bit over double that number of grief givers. :tu: Nice to know we agree on something. ;) And, just to keep things accurate it was a half bale, not a full bale, and my engine bay is clean, or at least it was the last time I opened the hood.

Note to self: Clean and reload "wheel locks" in case L8 changes his mind.

Hmmmm... When was the last time you opened your hood? :D

Last time I saw it there was a fine layer of "anti tamper" security dust :D
As for the wheel, I heard it was going to be lighter weight maybe even forged. That would be great considering 01 wheels are 32,37 lbs alone and 55 with F1! The 20" replicas are 76lbs w/ tire now that kills breaking! I have driven customer's trucks with 20's and you definately use more brake to stop. The 20's also affect shock performance trying to control another 25 lbs per corner.

July 4th. Spent about 5 hours washing, waxing, and detailing (including the engine bay). Rained on me twice in the next two hours, so I'm sure there's some road spray in there now. But it was clean for a little while.

L8,
Look at the close up picture again, it looks to me like plenty of room for bigger brakes. Lots of room between the existing caliper and the rim.

I'm just hoping that Ford upgrades the brakes so there is a more affordable option for the 00 Ls.
