I ran across this on the 'net and thought Doug, Garett and Sayle would want to check it out.

Quote: "It is a 38 foot Fountain. The owner had it for about a week and has not made the first payment on the 375,000 dollar pricetag. He was going 80 mph made a sharp turn, it threw him and his passenger out of the boat. He did not have his kill switch on, so it steadily accelerated until it hit the bank, went airborne and split on this tree."

Assuming the owner/driver lived, I'll bet he's :crying:. Be careful out there and watch out for idiot boaters!

OT as to someone hitting the water at 80mph: a coworker of mine was wake-boarding one time :ron: :D , wiped-out and face-planted a wave at only ~40mph. It knocked him out, had to have 2 CAT scans, and he said from that day forward, the taste of beer and direct sunlight would give him migraines.

At first I thought this was a Photoshop, but it looks to be legit. What do ya'll think?

Did a quick search on the Fountain 38' Lightning: http://www.fountainpowerboats.com/Products/SportBoats/38Light_Specifications.htm .

Turns out, the US Customs, US Coast Guard, US Navy and Navy Seals run Fountain boats and Fountains were there during Desert Storm.

Once again the "My boat is bigger than yours, so I know more than you do about boating" theory is put into jeopardy...

Good find Ronald, thank God for rich idiots. :rll:
