Gen I gas mileage

I decided to check the mileage on Popeye yesterday going to Thunder Valley.

Going:
Windows down no A/C. Mostly freeway at 72 mph - 16.4 mpg (87 octane)

Coming back:
Windows up A/C on. Mostly freeway at 75 mph - 14.9 mpg (88 octane)

There was a little more in-town driving on the coming back trip so I would expect 15 or a little better on freeway only driving.

I am just now checking the milage on Bluto. I will run a test on the rear tank since that is the one I topped off today and I am running 93 Octane. No De-caf for Bluto

I get about 14-15 with some constant highway driving with AC.

In town- lots of quick trips 10-11

I have 96K with records of every tanks and milage. All are between 14-16. I did 16.1 and 14.5 coming back from Detroit.

I filled up my two tanks from local driving and avg 14 even. How much do you guys fit in a tank? I fit 16.66 in the front tank and 14.5 in the rear, the front was EMPTY. $60 bucks at a 1.88 a gal x 32galllons for 89octane.
