Quail hunting with my lightning!

Today while cruisin to visit my dad on fathers day,somewhere in western Oklahoma, I kinda had a run in with a large fat quail trying to make it's way across the highway. The bird hit exactly on the ford emblem on the center of my grill and knocked it completely off! :eek: The bird didn't fare much better either. Anyway I guess I will need some kind of front grill replacement badge. Suggestions? Stock or aftermarket? or do you have to replace the grill?

The surrounding grill is just fine. I cleaned it up and it looks like it just broke off the blue oval badge. I think I was doin about 75ish or so..

You're lucky sounds to me. He could've hit higher and maybe cracked your windshield depending on your speed.

I'd check ebay for new Ford emblems - cheap stuff that's NIB. Retail markup! :hammer:

My dad lives in Snyder Ok, 32 miles due west of Lawton Ok. We left my in-laws house Duncan,Ok. We hit the bird a few miles west of Duncan,Ok.
