OK, it's about 3 months to LightningFest. It may be a little early to start planning, but what the hell..I've got nothing better to do. We need to start thinking about when we are going up and all of that good stuff, so for now, those of you that are going, when are you planning to head up: Thursday, Sept 23 or Friday, Sept 24? Since activieis are beginning on Friday this year, I figure most of the gang will head up Thursday, but want to confirm. Please vote and help me get some traction on this thing :burnout: .

I'm in Abilene and would like to meet up with some L's. Are there going to be any spots were people are going to try and get with the group.

We will be setting a primary meeting point the morning we are leaving and we'll likely pick up trucks along he way in OK city and Wichita. I believe there is another person or two coming from your direction, so you might want to meet up with them and meet us at the meeting point in the DFW area.

I ask this on NLOC, but thought maybe I should ask here also. I just noticed that there is a Thursday test and tune set up for L-fest. I am mixed about wether or not I want to attempt to practice Thursday night.

Is anyone else thinking of T&T Thursday night? If so...will the 10 AM departure time be early enough to get to the track by 6?

We made it up there close to 6 last year (I think). It's about an 8-hour drive. Nobody went for test and tune last year, but I don't know about this year. I probably will not go, but I can't speak for the rest of the group.

Hey Tom,

After sleeping on it, I have decided that I am going to skip the Thursday night T&T also.

I have attempted these T&T's at events in other places. It usually just ends up getting frustrating.
