Location: Cavanaugh Flight Museum, Addison TX
The SVT Club of North Texas is pleased to announce our first annual
club photo shoot to be held on Saturday, July 10th, 2004. The venue will
be the Cavanaugh Flight Museum at Addison, TX. Club members will
have the opportunity to have a photo taken of their car with the museum’s P51 Mustang WWII fighter. We also plan to do a group photo with all vehicles.
Arrival time at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum is 8:00am, with photo sessions to begin soon afterwards. Following the photo shoot, a brief club meeting will be held at 10:30am, followed by a guided tour of the museum’s aircraft and facilities for those who wish to take part. Pizza will be provided following the tour. You are welcome to stay at the museum for as long as you please, and vehicles may remain inside the facility until you are ready to leave.
Admission to the Cavanaugh Flight Museum will be free to current SVT Club of North Texas members and their immediate families on presentation of your club membership card. Non-club members are welcome to attend at the regular admission price to the museum (Adults: $6.00, Children 6-12: $3.00, Children 5 and under free). Memberships and renewals will be accepted on the day.
Note that there will be no regular meeting at John Eagle Lincoln Mercury in July.
Participation in the photo shoot is only open to current SVT Club of North Texas members. You will have the opportunity to have two individual photos taken of your vehicle with the fighter (one with, and one without you in the shot), as well as the group shots. Each participant will receive a CD of the photos, plus a 10x8 print of their car. The cost for participation in the photo
shoot is only $5.00 per vehicle, to help cover production costs.
