I don't recall Florida having mountains either... check out the ebay pics.

I remember seeing this Mustang a good while back on f150online/nloc or somewhere and it was based in one of the Virginias if I'm not mistaken.

Dana,

This is what I was referring to.

"Thar's hill-womps in them thar' hills!" :D

That WOULD be a pretty cool project to take to fruition. A fair amount of $/effort, though.

Just think of the power/weight ratio! :bows

Ronald,
maybe, but you could probably come close with a blower and nitrous on a stock engine too, without all the extra cost involved.
Dana

Hmmm, maybe they moved to Florida recently.

The things people do, I swear!. You would think you could find something, anything to cover the S/C. I would take off his hands for a pocket full of change!:evil

Uh, the guy is in the Military so it is very possible that he was stationed in Virginia and now is Stationed in Florida

Up for auction is a 1997 ford mustang gt with a new lightning motor, 6,000 miles on new motor and 90% of miles were from highway miles (military).

True, he's probably moving all over with the Navy. I just happened to notice the discrepancy between the pics and his location.

I'm wondering about the fit of the L engine between the Mustang's shock towers.

The guy sold some 4 valve heads for a 4.6L engine on E-bay , so I am assuming that this is a Cobra. I imagine that it does not take much more room for the 5.4 than the 4.6 and the heads are definitely bigger.

BTW, he also sold his shock tower support bracket, because I know that wouldn't fit.
