Sent PM's don't show up

I have sent tons of PM's the last few nights with my sent items showing 0 sent. Something isn't right, am I missing a setting?
It used to work ok.

I have sent tons of PM's the last few nights with my sent items showing 0 sent. Something isn't right, am I missing a setting?
It used to work ok. When you create a new or reply to a PM, below the message body text (scoll down) is a header " Additional Options".
Under this header is a check box "Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder."
I beleive by default this is set unchecked.
This might have previously been checked by default. If so, then Doug probably changed this setting to help save hard drive space since no one was deleting their old PM's. Could be wrong though.

It wasnt done to save space as much as to be more efficient - One of your fellow members was bitching about how many clicks it took to send a PM ... So I reduced the click number --
