View Full Version : How can I make my Gen2 as fast as my Gen1

Just got her Friday. I ran across this good deal on e-bay and couldn't pass it up. Of all places to buy a L, from e-bay and off a Dodge lot.:confused:

The truck is in great shape w/ only 32,000 miles. I took her out for her first break in to some of the local race spots, but couldn't find any action. So I called my brother (98 Cobra stock) and we got in on. Damn truck took him about 1 1/2 cars. I have to say these trucks are a lot faster than I thought. I guess when I'm blowing by them in my Gen1 they don't seem so fast.:d

All I need now is some tires and cd changer. Then I'll be ready for L Fest. Well maybe a 100shot too just in case.knana

I would like a cheap gen 2 as well. Maybe when Brian retires the farm truck.

Built bottom end, KB or a :burnout: couple a turbos. That ought to be a good start.

Here's what you need to get a G2 into the 10s....CASH!! Kenne Bell, built bottom end, all the bolt-up goodies and a good tune!!

Congrats on the new acquisition! You going to Lightningfest??? Excellent...

Just need to get the cage, minitub, tune, and some street slicks. Then I'll be ready for L Fest
