Ennis 9/10??

Well, since FFW is the weekend prior to LightningFest, and I know not all of us are going to race in the events, how about we set something up to get some practice the weekend prior. I'm sure there are more options, but here are a few:

1) Sept 10 - Fast Friday, Texas Motorplex, Ennis
2) Sept 12 - TMCC, Rusk

This year we have got to get one or two of our guys into the semis at least. Who's game? Not sure which I'll make, but I'll be at at least one of these two events.

With all the guys doing the competition events this summer, I am betting we have several in the semi finals. Nothing works better than experience when it comes to bracket racing. Practice your reaction times fellows. I am amazed at how many races are determined at the lights.


Another idea for a practice day...and some fun while your at it. The FFW is September 17-19. You could show up Friday morning and sign up for Quick Ford,(no membership rquired), pay the extra 15 bucks or so to do test and tune all dayFriday. Then show up Sat morning for time trial(another two or three passes) do the QF event after that. I plan on making some BBQ for everyone Saturday(smoker style, sausages, brisket, tater salad...beans). Now if all of that doesn't get you in the mood for kicking arse at L-Fest...nothing will:d .

I'm thinking I need to practice the tree myself..........what time does Ennis open Friday...and are you positive on the Fast Friday deal. Sometimes they do that street night Bull Sh!t, with the instant greens.

Probably lucky for you since you wont be out there embarassing your self with all those 14 second passes you would have been laying down. At least you can run some high 9s at Denton.
