What is the distance from the edge of the tip to the center of the hole drilled in the bottom of the tips?

Im not sure but what was the point of the holes in the first place. Its not like the tips have a rolled edge like some tips do that like to hold water.... id go measure but i have the old skool bassani tips..

Some had holes some didn't. It is about 1/2-3/4" off the leading edge

i think the holes are for the optional silencer's you can mount in them. at least for the mustangs they are. i can't find on their website where you can order them though.

You are correct, I've got the silencer's. It's a special order, but after looking at it, I'm going to mount them deeper than their holes. Thanks for the replies.

can u post some pics when u get them installed. I might order these for mine. All id have to do is drill some holes..
