I am planning to run the Gen1 at Kennedale on the 19th!

I don't think I'm going to be able to go this time. Tranny is still out of the truck and I havent been able to check the tune since installing the headers. I might run if I can run the Mustang. My only trouble with this is taht I can't run the same class. Not sure how that will affect my points. Maybe Dennis will chime in.

were going down to tyler sat and the drive to rusk sunday morning .i can't drive there and race then drive back in one day . my back can't handle it .

Well. Michael went three rounds before losing on a double break out. I got taken out in the first round when my opponent ran a 15.63 on a 15.62 dial with a .049 reaction time. I broke out by .003 seconds after a reaction time of .071. :cool:

All minor stuff compared to Ken losing his motor during a run today. :(

The clean-up crew at work. The Rusk track is a great facility and is about the same distance as Hallsville. It would be ideal for an event with the Houston guys. :cool:

i guess i need to explain what happen . i was in the third round with an easy win in hand ready to go to the semis next round , when my switch for my fuel pump on my nitrous enrichment system failed and shut down the fuel 3/4 track , and not the nitrous , need i say more . it was very little indication some thing was going wrong , a half a second of denotation and the rods airconditioned my block on both sides . i haven't looked at the full extent of the damage yet . i will tomorrow , if i can stand looking at it.:(

Sorry to hear that she let go Ken. On the bright side, she made an awful lot of passes on the spray, before finally calling it quits. That's one hell of a tribute to the power these stock motors are capable of withstanding, when set-up and handled correctly.
