I can barely handle uneventful flights with just a bit of turbulence, much less something like this. Anyone else? This stuff just makes my gut churn! http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/redface.gif
I've read that on approach at this airport, you are almost eyeball-to-eyeball with people in sky-scrapers.http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/eek2.gif
Mark #2 may know about this airport...
From another board: "Hong Kong's Kai Tak airport was among the most difficult to fly into on the planet. Because of a mountain located in front of the runway 13, the approach took planes over the city of Kowloon literally skimming the rooftops, then forced pilots to make a 70 degree turn right before touchdown. The result was numerous incidents like the ones pictured here. Fortunately the airport was closed in 1998 when Chek Lap Kok Airport opened. "

These next 3 are all in sequence...Somehow the pilot(s) manage to keep it upright.
