bassi x pipe with cats 500

373 gears 180

tri x short throw 180

cai 160

drs on the back 400

pulleys 190

labor around 800 or so

If your gonna have a chip burned at least throw in a 2lb or 4lb pulley. It will be the best extra $200 you ever spent on your truck.

8lbs boost is stock, add a 2lb or 3lb or 4lb lower pulley for some extra fun :) along with a fresh tune.

previously had a '01 with-
4lb lower, cone filter kit, single bore t-body, magnflow muffler, line mod valve, flip-chip, elec. fan kit, rancho-style traction bars that went 12.29 @ 110.55 (401rwhp & 475rwtq in the rain)

now I have a '04 stock- 13.43 @ 103.81 (356rwhp & 427rwtq)
and recently added- used 3lb lower, SCT programmer, Factory Tech Valve Body, Lakewood Traction Bars, Silver Bullet catback and cut a extra lower stock air box (no new #s yet).

You know I had the idea of keeping it stock, saving warranty, bla bla bla. Until I got used to the stock power (only took a few days) I slapped on an air filter then I was hooked, I cant stop now either, its an expensive drug.

Our L's respond to mods quite well from what i've heard. I actually put on a pulley as one of my last mods, should have been my first mod with a good chip burn and cooler plugs... BIG bang for your buck... Wakes up the L. knana

Slap on a 4#, and a reburn you won't be dissapointed. Welcome to the board, I've learned alot from this board.

Man, I don't like to talk a lot about Mustangs on here because of the obvious but only a couple things on that list add HP. You will find out the same with your L. Only thing is the L comes SC'd and you start out with more HP.If your GT started out even HP as the L you would see.Look at the 03/04 Cobras. Take it from me and there are several guys that can verify it on here. I got a Mustang I've owned for 8 years and got $50,000 + spent on it.Its built and detuned to run 10.80's It blew out a clutch on the start line Sat at FFW during True Street in front of thousands. :mad: : So there goes a years worth of wait and work( I also got a 2000 L that will have taken a few $$$ out of my wallet once its paid for. So don't be fooled that these trucks won't get your money like a Stang will in order to go faster. Maybe I'll get to meet you sometime. :cool:

Derrick is right. do the mods that count. forget the rear end gears. start with chip, filter, pulley. exhaust doesnt add much. blower porting is nice. can ad about 30hp for cheap.
