I know a few of the guys have upgraded their '99-'00 DS's tot he new AL ones.
Does anyone know what the weight of the '01-'02 DS is ?

Terry ,surely you know the weight of the AL driveshaft.
Anyone that has switched them out ?Andy Cain ? Sixpipes ?

Well damn....I've searched several times but somehow Inever saw this answer :hammer:. I searched every concievable combo, even searched for just "driveshaft" and read through all of the posts....hell, I even know about HD and Navigator DS's if anyones interested :)
Anways...I put in sixpipes driveshaft and the first post that popped contained this:
Installed the 2001 driveshaft this afternoon. The new aluminum shaft weighs 20 pounds while the stock 99 steel weighs in at 25 pounds.
