I got home at about 2. The trip went well. Thanks again to Doug, Dennis, Adam and Terry for the help with my trailer on the way to Kansas. For those that don't know, I lost a tire in the middle of nowhere. Thanks to some team effort we got it up and back on te road in a few ours. How the heck Dennis found a town out there is beyond me:rll: . Terry and Adam got to experience some small town cookin:D , while getting the tire fixed up. I didn't get to eat any, but from what we heard, it kept them both "running" for hours:cool: .

It was fun. I hope we can all do it again next year.

Glad to see that everyone has made it back so far. I heard that a few people had enlisted jeff to pick up a few things... Larry and I were just talking about how he must have robbed a bank to get everything :rll:

Our little four truck convoy made the 450 mile trek in 6 hours. All went well.

I had an absolute blast! It was great to get out of town for a few days, and just enjoy time with friends.

Ron, Thanks again for allowing me to make a "few" passes in the black beast. I cannot begin to tell you how much fun I had, or how much I appreciated it.http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/bows.gif

Here is Ron three wheeling his trailer to the Goodyear in Wellington, KS. Then there is Adam's commentary on the situation. I got the honor of driving Ron's Lightning down I-35 in full race trim on the slicks and all:burnout:

Made it home in one piece. I think the only ones left are Tommy and Justin now.

Needless to say, this event was an absolute blast. I am glad we all got to go, and for those that didn't make it, you missed a great time!

Terry,
That is the funniest thing I have seen in weeks. I could tell that you and RC bonded at LFest. Friends forever! :D

Ron, I appreciate you letting me use your grill and then not cleaning it and it catching on fire when you lit 'r back up.:throw: Sorry.

Jeff, hey man you didn't get all the pieces to those Rancho bars. E-mail me your address and I will get the rest of them to you so you can get those things on. JBlackwell69@aol.com

I had a safe trip back, got the motorhome up past 85mph, not sure how fast..that was all it said.:) But only did that for a few miles.

Hope to see you guys at Hallsville soon.

I made it home about 1:30am. Followed Brandon and Patty for a couple of hours. I was soo tired (or was it alcohol poisoning?) I had to stop and run around the truck a couple of times and get myself back awake. UGGGHHH and the alarm didnt survive this morning (My fist killed it!)

But I wouldn't trade a minute of the fun I had with you guys and on the tracks! What a hoot! Got to know R.C. and Cock a little too well (but not as well as some others). Great fun guys and can't wait to do it again.

Just one question---Why in the hell did no one run on the open track? What a freaking blast!!!!!!!! Those instructers were pushing me and my truck to scary limits and I don't scare very easy. HHMMM......how do I come up with enough cash for those Wilwood brakes? Let the addiction begin!

I just talked to Danny Swanson...turns out the trip was a financial success for him. He and Caleb went back to KC to stay the night Sunday, and wound up at a casino. Well, after about 20 minutes of playing one of the slots Danny hit the jackpot and won about $1,500 for his troubles! He thanked us again for showing them a good time and making them part of the group. He's really looking forward to coming out and dyno-tuning for us, so hopefully we'll get that all planned out and ready to go. Needless to say TALON has made a friend for life!

Danny was a great guy, extremely helpful to the guys that were running his chips and more than willing to give tips to us guys that dont have any of his stuff. Caleb also talked to me for about 30 minutes about my next mods and what direction to head (He said from stock you only need 1 mod--Kenne Bell).

I would like to hang out with those guys again and maybe get special tune, make sure you let me know when he is coming.
