I'm having the stock tips replaced at a muffler shop with some chrome ones in the stock position. Anyone ever done this before? I'm hoping it doesn't come out looking weird.

I've only had my stock '02 exhaust replaced with a PR Big-Mouth. I can't speak for the new "chromy" tips.

If you get them "glued on crooked", you shall be known forever as "Hung-Funny" in the TALON community.:D

The straight exit of stock exhaust wont allow you to use 45' tips. Also don't use a chrome tip the inside will rust and look nasty shortly. I use stainless chromed tips for this reason. We do a complete catback hand built and installed on your truck for only $375 I think that is a great deal. We use Magnaflow stainless polished mufflers and stainless chrome tips.
