Well, it's not really a Membership drive or a Joint Cruise ...
I just got tired of not having anything to give L owners that I meet, but don't know about Dougs site or the forum. So I created a Word doc that is divided into 6 sections. Kinda like large business cards that I could give away or put under the wiper.

Printed a couple full sheets and cut the sections with scissors. Keep them in both trucks and my wifes car.

You can see it here:
New owner info (http://www.blueoval.net/ftp/Nice%20truck.htm)

IF it's ok with Doug, I'll print a page or two for whoever wants them for the next meeting.

OR, if you have a color printer, I'll e-mail the doc to ya and print it yourself.

Whats ya think? Doug?

You didn't get TALON business cards? Of course when I'm going down the road I just whip out in front of them so they can see the sticker:D

I did this a while back

For 10 bucks i bought a bunch of blank bussiness cards and Printed a bunch ...

Business cards - Dougs (http://www.svtlightnings.com/talon/logos/taloncardsdoug.zip)

Business cards - Logans (http://www.svtlightnings.com/talon/logos/taloncardslogan.zip)

http://www.svtlightnings.com/talon/logos/logosamples.htm

Anyone wants any just ask at a meeting...

Logan has a version he did as well..

Blue yours looks ok but I just dont like the font...
Arial Man Arial ...
Also the business cards look a little more professional than scissor cut... But I LOVE THE fact that you are trying to help promote the club.. If we could get more folks involved the club would grow more...
LOL

Doug, I posted the question"Talon Business cards or Fliers" under the Website Questions ...etc forum, but no one replied. That's cool though, I'll get a hand full of yours at the next meeting.

Terry .... still don't have a PR sticker ...... :nono:

Doug,

Will it work if I picked up some blank cards myself and just printed from my own printer using your template? I see no point in using up all your ink...unless money is no object for you and you really don't mind. I've seen several Gen1's here and there and would like to attract a few more to the club...I been feelin' kinda lonely!

George,
I been trying to get other Gen1's out to our meeting as well.
I've told at least 4 guys in the Arlington area.

I agree with you Sixpipes. Promotion for the L Group should be in all of our minds. New members add to the camaraderie (Erk, can't spell. Hold on, that's right , lol) and to the accumulated info for everyones benefit.

LMAO :d Now if we can get a certain un-named "rila" to get an e-mail address like "rila@svtlightnings.com".

hehehehe

I used Geographics business cards...They are just like the Avery 8371 business cards... The template should print fine...

Ill post Logans version later tonight. In fact Ill put a page together of logos and templates all together. I have hundred or more already printed and the ink isnt an issue.

If I can shrink sixpipes version Ill make a template for him too..

We need to fix that logo so that the TX flag follows the wave look of the sticker, it looks a little goofy with out the wave effect IMO.

Texas flag looks better without waves IMO.

There are problems shrinking this down to business card size because of the small graphics, but what the hey. I think I'm going to print up a bunch on photo paper for FFW/Ennis in 5X7 for freebies.

Funney this is posted up. I have had more people ask me about my "L" after putting the Talon sticker on, than they did before the sticker. They ask about the sticker first, then the truck. :(
I think the sticker on a good looking truck helps a lot.
