These heads supposedly came off of a 2001, but the threads look the same to me. Was it 2002 before they added more threads?

Where the confusion may exist, is that the new thread design heads started to hit the assembly lines in November of 2002. By this time, the 2002 production of Lightning had stopped. The 2003 Lightning production began the first week of December.

I too researched this at length and found that SVT started including the "improved" heads in Nov, '02.
All 8 of mine were still tight at approx. 20K miles, though.

Have you noticed the post count has dropped over the past 12 weeks or so ?
Used to fill a page in about 2-3 hours - now it tales all day or longer ...

I really didn't notice the post count going down until you mentioned it. Now I am thinking about it and I do remember posts being pushed back 2 pages or so pretty quick.
Must be alot of folks are getting bored with it.....;) .
