Well, crap. I was all ready to go racing tomorrow. I guess next Saturday is OK by me. We really didn't get that much rain up here in Little Elm. Thanks for the heads up. I'm planning on bringing Go_rila next Saturday and racing in Super. Maybe I can help you out.

Michael - I wasn't able to attend because I had already made a $120 investment for a Friday/Saturday golf package at The Cliffs on Possum Kingdom Lake. Wish I could have been there for the Big Dog race since I qualified earlier in the year, but I didn't expect the TMCC event to be moved for a Sunday to a Saturday date. So what happened?

I was in second place overall to start the day, three points (rounds) back from the leader. Pretty slim chances of winning the whole thing without the leader losing early. Funny part is that the leader lost in the first round. I did not.
So I go on to win the next two rounds, leaving me one round from winning the overall super muscle title. I needed to win this one race to win. So I went ahead and redlighted with a .412 on a .500 tree. Clutch....very clutch.
Long story longer, I ended the year in second place, only one point out of tying for first place. That is the other fun part of the story....if I would have won that one round, I would have been in the semifinals, which would have given me two points, not just the one for each round. So I would not have tied, I would have been ahead by one point.
Now the really funny part.....The first place guy walks up to me after the losing round saying congradulations. He thought that we had tied because I went three more rounds than he did. I had to explain to him that because he was in the first round, losing or not, that he got one point for being in that round. So he did not know that he had won the title.
Now for the REALLY funny part......The same guy and I are talking after I clear everything up. He tells me that I am a good racer, and that this year was fun....yada, yada, yada.....Then he says that he is a software/hardware engineer and he has built a in-car practice tree. He proceeds to show me the handheld christmas tree and the food pedals that connect to your pedals so you can practice your reaction times in your car. This was 20 minutes after I had just red-lighted to give him the overall title.....
Irony is so damn funny it makes me want to :vomit:

Looks like you tied for 8th in the overall points and just a point behind (45 to 44) in your class. I managed to win my class without attending Saturday's event and finished 5th in points overall. You planning on going to the awards dinner on Saturday?

Congrats to both of you:beer: .
Michael...... check out this link. I went with the final round four and got the foot control with it. This practice tree helps alot. http://www.biondoracing.com/PracticeTrees.shtml#FR3
And also check out this sight. It has an internet tree. Not as acurate, but it will help you condition your head to leave on yellow.

I would think that I have to go. With all the effort that went into racing this season, I would hate to know that I left a trophy at the table, second place or not. I was told to show up on time because the buffet gets hit pretty hard early at this event.
