Nitrous Questions!

i was wanting to put nitrous in my 03L but ive heard different things, im having a hard time deciding what shot i should run, but safe of course! If any of you have any comments on that, let me know. :evil

I ran a Zex system using a 125 shot on my '03. When I installed the system I had it dyno tuned using a flip chip before ever using the system. I highly recomend doing it that way. Do not use that juice until you have it tuned properly....unless you want to ventilate the block.

the size shot depends on your current power level. ie, if you are already at 450rwhp you dont want to throw a 150 shot at it

my .02 cents

the amount of money to by a nitrous is around $400-600 somewhere in there for a good one, then the amount it takes to refill the bottle, when you could buy parts for the same amount of money have more h.p. and trq, and have that poerll th time instead of only when the bottles full.

i should use that in my sig.

Bang for Buck you really cant beat N2O. Its cheap power and it makes a ton of it. Filling the bottle is not really a huge deal it's not like you drain it all in one outing. Unless you're a show and like to be a purge monkey :)

The first thing you should do is........pick a different nick...LOL. I couldn't figure out what the heck was going on for a minute there.


Many folks have used Nozzzz in there L's safely. The shot you run would be related to how much H.P. you already have. The word on the street is that 450-465 H.P. is about the limit on the stock rods.

As shiner stated...the tune is everything when using Nozzzzzzz:evil .
