How many of you guys are running stalls in your trucks? How much of an improvement in e.t.'s did you see?

i want to put one in my truck, I have heard of 3-4 tenths off your et, however i dont have one so maybe someone with one will post up

also slicks and traction bars are a must

I have a 2400 stall as well and I love it, cant go wrong with a 2400 stall in my opinion.

What did it cut your 1/8th or 1/4 to?

Kinda hard to say. I've changed up so much stuff on my truck. I would say it took about a tenth off of the 1/8. About .2 off of the 1/4.

I'd say two tenths is a safe bet. Of course you need slicks and bars to launch on a stall or you will just go up in smoke.

That's what I gained....about two tenths. I want my old converter back.....it gave me about eight one hundreds better launch. I have no idea why, other than just maybe they all vary a bit, even though we call it 2400 stall.

Would it be a good "next" mod for me or would it be more benificial to do L.T.'s or some other type of bolt on to get the same performance improvements?

It is a hard call stalls are best for drag racing and slicks. On the street they spin fasterknana . If you are not a racer I would go Efan or ported blower for the same dinero.

CAI, Cat-back, Chip, 4#

If I was you I'd go S/B T/B, E Fan, Heat Exchanger. These will not give you any improvements in performance but if you plan on racing your truck then it will help with consistancy at the track and maybe even help your truck stay together longer. Then I would go LT's, blower upgrade and then Stall.

I think I am going to get one of those new C&L upper plenums and a Throttle body. This is supposed to be worth 30+ rwhp so we will see! I wonder if this will mean i have to get my chip re-burned?

Well I got my stall installed today! I have mixed opinions on it. It is an Art Carr 2400 stall or so they advetised. They must mean its 2400 flash stall. I havn't got on it yey but at a stand-still with my foot on the brake it will only stall to around 1700-2000k. I know it has alot to do with how much torque you amke so maybe as my mods increase it will to. Have to say, it drives suprisingly well on the street! :tu: I can't wait to launch on it this weekend with my new tractons bars and slick. Man this weekend is gonna be fun!! knana

Oh, FYI I took your advise StormShadow and went with an e-fan and heat-exchanger also!!

Most of them will power brake to 2200 or so. Man, I have all of those parts in stock same price or less than LFP. Support your local tuner, and LFP dealer:tu:

I actualy got the e-fan from summit when I got my traction bars. Don't worry all my other mods are coming your way! :) I didn't relize that you carried all of LFP's parts untill I came up there and talked to you! It was to late then I had already ordered the parts :( . Any way I will have you some things to do after the Fall Classic!!!

Thanks Terry I won't forget you next time I prommise! :tu:
