Probably, one of his lieutenants will step up and try to take control. Hard to say.
I just hope Ariel Sharon has the cajones (along with Dubya!knana ) to stomp a mud-hole in Iraqs @ss (those beheading insurgents too) and the whole terrorism-network region in the Hindu-Kush of Afghanistan/Paki. border where OBL is probably holed-up! :flaming:

I just wonder...with all our technology and jillions of DOLLARS, we keep asking ourselves, "Where's OBL?" :hammer:

One thing I'll say about the Israeli's as I've seen, they hit tgts. in Palestine/Iraq/etc. and not just a group takes responsibility for it...the ENTIRE country takes responsibility for a hit.:nana2

Don't jack with the Israelis or the Mossad, either. http://www.fas.org/irp/world/israel/mossad/

Oh, and a follow-up point/statistic,

I understand that El-Al (the national/gov. airline of Israel) is the only airlines around to have NEVER been hijacked.

The deal is that they have Uzi SMG armed gov. agents onboard "keeping the peace" who aren't afraid of "unloading" on assailants.

Such is life in the "Wild Wild West".

I dunno...

I mean, I'd still rather Bush be in office than Kerry, but I don't know as though OBL is a priority anymore. I think if we catch him at this point it is just a political bonus.

That's because they are a country with an armed forces, and we recognize their government.

That said, I am sure there are HUNDREDS of hits/operations that we have done over the years that we *haven't* ever claimed responsibilty for, because we couldn't.

Follow-up/Followup:

The reason for that is that their version of the TSA has real, trained personnel. They pay VERY well from what I hear, and they actually get training in military intelligence, interrogation, etc. Here in the US we basically have your local Bennigan's waitress deciding she wants to make a difference wanding down Meema to make sure she isn't carrying a wind-resistant cigarette lighter.

What is hilarious to me is that everyone wants to be safe, but no one wants the security screening. If it ever get serious here about airline safety like it is in Israel, I think people will be hesitant to fly unless necessary.

One,
The people of Palestine have a pretty tough life and they want a change to a more moderate person, their life isnt changing and they see the difference all around them.

Two,
Arafat had taken most of the money that was given to Palestine from other countries. He has millions in banks across most of Europe. The reason it has taken this long to announce his death is that the wrangling with his wife and finance minister had to be taken care of before he could be announced dead.
That said, if the Palestinian people ever realize how much money he stole from them, they would revolt..

As a follow up, I believe that Palestine received more foreign aid than any other country, yet look at how they lived.. sad and all due to a man that deceived those people all those years. And yes Mark, he is a terrorist and a person that supported terrorists and terrorist activity. All the while, lining his own pockets with money that should have gone to support his people. :Bullshit
