That is just crazy and wrong. The FCC can kiss my ass. Anyone that would complain about the subject matter has the same right as I do to watch- they can choose not to watch.

I saw this movie on opening day while in California:ron: and it made grown men cry(many attending were veterans)- when everyone left the theater not a word was said

Steve,

I agree 110% If you don't want to watch - change the channel. If they're worried about children witnessing foul-language and graphic war-footage...well, the parents should be involved enough in their lives (instead of the FCC) enough to send the kids to the other room and play, until they're mature enough to digest what life/war is actually all about.

I feel as though the American public should be reminded frequently of what the US does abroad and how the world ACTUALLY is in reality - the good...the bad...the ugly.

If you like Saving Private Ryan, go get Band of Brothers and watch it! :bows

The opening scene in Private Ryan is one of the msot realistic I have seen. I understand it may be over the top for TV. I saw the title of Happy VD and thought what a sick bastard he needs pennicillin for that ****!

Its a day late but you're welcome from me also. I would not believe that most of the people in charge of FCC or protesters ever been in the military. If they lived the hardship of the Army & Marines, they would be more than glad to promote Veterans & Memorial Days.
