May be fun to shift....but definitely sucks for drag racing. They might actually start putting down good times now.

I learned to drive in a 1964 F-100 with a four on the floor. Those big long shifter handles suck. There's no excuse to put that in a performance truck. About time they put an auto in it.

An auto will help the SRT-10......................until it breaks. Nice price tag on the extended cab. :evil

The first time I saw a column shift was when I was working at a car wash as a teenager. I had no clue how to move the truck out of the tunnel, and had to hit the emergency stop button to keep from causing a crash. I was looking for the (D) on it. LOL.

A dodge customer said the dealers are warrantying clutches so far. His smoked in 1900 miles and the dealer installed an aftermarket clutch in it for free. Of course it is up to each dealer like anything else.. The crew cab rt10 is auto only due to weight.

I work for Dodge and we put a clutch in one with a little over 10000 miles I believe they are covered for 12/12 like any other car with a standard :)
