My son and I made it back from Detriot tonight with the new L. 94 new that is. We left Saturday morning at 10:00am and got in today at 4:30. So the tanks are bone dry when we pull into a Chevron station in Mckinney to fill up and who do I see....Big Tom. Good to see ya buddy!! I'll try to get some pics posted after she has a bath.
BTW 1276.6 miles from Detriot Metro Airport to Lewisville, TX and 10.4 mpg.

RonaldYea..there is always at least one good story from the road. Knowing the Gen1 has two gas tanks gives me comfort knowing that I only have to stop every 4 hours instead of every 2 for gas...:rll: Anyway, the guy I bought the truck from has lost the key to the locking cap on the front tank. Well shlt!! So we start down the road and two hours later we are stopped for gas and there is a Auto Zone across the street. We go in there and there is this chick at the counter and I ask her if I can borrow a screwdriver so I can try to twist/punch out the lock...(explosion be damned, I'm not stopping every 2 hours all the way to Texas) So she says.."Let me take a look" Insert Tim Allen "huh/growl" here. She goes out to the truck, reaches in her pocket and pulls out a key ring that has about a 100 keys on it, flips through a few, picks one and opens the cap. New cap...I'm outta there prepared for my next stop 4 hours later. I knew there was a reason I liked girls. I think her name was Terry.
Also there are more porn shops along the highway in Missouri than any place I have ever seen.

Hey Shiner1, It is great to have another Gen1 at Talon! I drove our 94 from Florida to Texas then to Topeka and back to Dallas! They aren't the best ridding truck in the world but they sure are fun. It is nice to change the plugs in 30 minutes! When you have time, list your mods and let us know what your plans are for the truck. How many Gen1's do we have now?
