Is the cooling system, Fluid, independant from the radiator or is it a combined system? Trying to figure out if I should run the water/water-wetter combo or stick with the water/anti-freeze combo. Going to be installing a new heat exchanger this week and wanted to see what you guys thought!

I run about 70% water to 30% anti-freeze. And a bottle of Purple Ice.

I would run some antifreeze just to help fight corrosion.... Water has better cooling than antifreeze itself.

I do the same thing, except not a full bottle of purple ice........just follow the directions. You need to have some anti-freeze in it or some really nasty $hit starts to grow in your intercooler system. Make sure you use distilled water not tap water. :tu:
PS.......Using the Purple Ice in your cooling system is also a great idea.......you can use a full bottle here.
