Wasn't Hennessey the shop who had several law suits against him for keeping peoples cars for LONG periods of time, swapping out authentic Viper parts like hoods for fakes and selling them for a profit to his own pocket (w/o owner consent)? I am not sure, its been awhile.

Yes, Dan...that's him. He's been sued many times over by Viper/Vette owners. He's lost, too, but I guess somehow he keeps getting funding from somewhere to keep the shop doors open. Maybe its from all the times he _didn't_ get sued. Who knows?

People who spend the money on the SRT-10 usually dont want to mod them to make them faster. I would say about 80% of the SRT-10 owners I've talked to don't care if a Lightning can beat a SRT-10, they bought it cause they had the money. You will find there a few people who want/do mod them as opposed to people like us who like to mod to make them go faster

Thats why I bought a Lightning over the SRT-10, when my 02 Lightning was totaled out. I wanted to mod my next truck, and you can't beat a moded Lightning
