This is what happens when you try to compensate for poor traction at Hallsville. I did not even notice that the cords were showing until I unloaded the tires back at the house. The best part is thinking about what would have happened if the slick lost tire pressure. I guess my next purchase is two new slicks after Christmas. :rolleyes:

It really depends on how long you want to sit and do burnouts. I've had 10" slicks I raced on my old Mustang last 125 passes and weren't even close to being as worn as those above.

Three Sets a year...:D . About 50 passes per set.

I"ve had my set for a year now and I've still got some life left on them. I can still see the wear marks. ( And I do race pretty often)
