I have a Sony DSC-P51. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The problem I'm having is that the display is dark. When the dispaly is dark it takes a pic of what it see's. So I get a black picture. The display works because I can go back and see other pictures that I've taken. It has to be a setting but I've lost the instructions and I have no clue what the symbols mean. I would appreciate any help.

Adam,

This maybe a power-saving "feature": http://www.megapixel.net/cgi-bin/fs_loader.pl?p=http%3A//www.megapixel.net/reviews/sony-p51/p51-gen.html

Here's another url: http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/P51/P51A.HTM
