dumb idea to run boost through a blower from a turbo. the s/c just bottle necks the flow at higher boost, plus it will just heat the air charge hotter than just a turbo would which would be defeating the purpose. its been tried with a centri and roots on Chet's (38topgun) truck, why do you think he got rid of the setup. the more interesting way to do it is to bypass the roots blower at higher rpm. that way you get the low end grunt of the instant roots blower boost and the awesome high end power of a turbo.

there is a lot of info on turbo compounding. im by no means an expert but i have seen similar setups not work. but good luck to the guy!:beer:

definitly an interesting project then. i just looked at the pics with the blower still attached. im very interested in seeing the end results e.t. wise.
