How do you guys post pictures in a thread?

How do the put a picture in a thread you started? I see the option/symbol it say insert picture.When I press on it ,itjust says insert text to be formatted. and has http. I dont know what all that means?

I want to put a picture in a thread that on my that on my harddrive in JPG format. How you post a picture in thread? I try copy but cant paste on thread.Help please

Jim the first step is to get the picture on the web - Then the http:// is the start of the address to that picture..

We have set up SVTgalleries.net to make getting pictures on the web easier - It has an upload feature that is pretty easy AND it also shows you the code needed to post a picture on this forum or any other - HOWEVER the abilty to upload pictures to SVTgalleries.net is limited to supporting members (http://www.talonclub.com/forum/announcement.php?f=2)

The other option yoiu have is to attach the picture direct from your PC to the post - using the Manage attachements button - That will put a thumbnail of the picture in the post
