Today i got pulled over for not slowing down 20 under the speed limit because there was 2 police cars that had pulled someone over. as i went by i was doing 49 in a 50 (thats what the cop said), and the 2nd cop ran me down and pulled me over. as he had me pulled over the other cop came and pulled in front of me and waited for someone else to pass me so he could pull them over. in the span of 15 min they had pulled over 4 people. it seems like entrapment. but whatever i just need to get out of it if possible. anyone know of a good euless ticket lawyer?

I dont think thats entrapment. Entrapment is the act of law enforcement officers or goverment agents encouraging a person to commit a crime when that person expresses a desire not to do so.

Sounds like to me that they are taking advantage of people not knowing the new laws passed last year or people not caring about the new laws. Much like the license plate cover deal. 7 out 10 cars with license plate covers out there are in violation of the current law but most cops wont pull you over. Another example is not having a front plate. How many of you out there not runnning one? How many cops have you passed without it?

Look for a FT Worth ticket lawyer, there was one I used when I lived over there and he handled stuff in the HEB area. I'll see if I still have his card but I doubt it.

people not caring about the new laws

Enough said.^ Not talking about you cpeapea, but more often than not, that's the deal. That violation and red lights are the only one that aggravate me.

Cpeapea, before you waste your money on an attorney, set up a meeting with the prosecutor and see what kind of deal he'll work with you. Sometimes, if you speak with them and tell them your position, they'll cut you a deal to avoid the time and expense of a trial.

That is true, i was just cruising and along with traffic and didnt realize it. it was my fault, but i just need to get rid of it without it going on to my record. insurance is a bitch, i might just try to defer it

Yep, that is true...it's easy to just be driving along and not think about it. Talk to the prosecutor and see what that will get you. If that doesn't work, you can always go with an attorney then. Good luck with it.

Id just do deffered if the fine isnt to much.....Ive had some lawyers get me out of street racing tickets in the past but thats it.. With deffered its usualy the cost of the ticket and 90 day probation and it dosent go on your recored.

Ive been on probation in dalworthington gardens, Kennedale, forrest hill all at the same time. :throw: that was an expesnive month

I would recommend defensive driving if it is in a area you travel alot. A second ticket in the same county/city will net you two tickets when doing deferred. Then you are screwed.

Do defensive first...then deferred on the next one(if it happens).
