I am wondering if the Bluetooth ear piece/mike combos work worth a hoot? I tlaked to one person with a Nextel bluetooth adapter earpiece and they said it talked like crap. I have a drawer with earpieces that don't work well and would not like to add to it anymore...

I haven't but people I know have and they swear by it. They're using Blackberry devices.

I had a Jabra bluetooth headset that worked great. Nobody could tell when I was using it and when I wasn't. Kinda looked like a dork wearing the earpiece ... but it was especially useful when riding my mountain bike and things like that.

Always handy when you are by yourself incase you bust and break something. http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/devil.gif You gotta just try to not land on the phone. http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/bash.gif

Elaine and I just picked up a couple of SBC/Cingular Motorola V551 GSM phones today with the Bluetooth sets.http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/nana.gif

We are both very impressed with them, thus far, calling each other within a Sam's/SuperCenter (metal-building) and family on different cell/home providers in different states/regions - OK/TX/IN/WI.

Works great for us!

What he said! doesn't anyone else just like to get away for at least a few minutes? Just think what it will be like when they finally allow those damn phones on the airplanes. Flying will suck, terribly!

yeah, I was talking to him yesterday on my cell, and his Motorola Bluetooth headset worked so well that I thought he was on a land line, it was crystal-clear and QUIET, even tho he was out on the patio in the wind and whatnot.
