Launched Spark Plug !

I am now a full fledged member of the Launched Spark Plug Club! It happend on my way to work this morning at 8:30. I was on 635 going west around Luna Road and all of the sudden BOOM! I called Terry for help on what I should do and he did engine diagnostics by listening through my cell phone (Real McGuyver Stuff). I hobbled from Irving to the shop in Duncanville annoying everyone around me from the awful sound of my crapped out power plant. After that I headed for Texan Ford to get warranty work. Texan's service guy (VINCE WHITAKER) met me at the service bay and took excellent care of me and my situation. Thanks Larry(Nuhklz) for advising me to take it to Vince. Also a huge thanks to Terry C. You Da Man. I owe you cash and some beers. They gave me a Jeep Liberty(RED) to drive until repairs are completed. Anyone need a RIDE.
Hopefully I will get my L back on Friday.

well at least you under warranty.... my truck also threw a plug and was covered under warranty but that was before I was owner....

Curtis, sorry to hear. How many miles on your '02 L? <correction> I'm nearing 30K on my '02.

:ron: After hearing Curtis limp out of the parking lot, I go over and check my new motor. We noticed that the casting date on the heads is 2001. Needless to say, I got a bit ticked off. Jim received a tense call from me concerning 10 thousand dollar built motors and plug spitting heads. Turns out he had put inserts in the heads for me. So far, the inserts he has put in the other heads he's done perform flawlessly. I believe I like the inserts better than even the 8 thread holes. Steel should do better than aluminum... that's what I am hoping for....:ron:
