$26,000
The mileage is high because I live in Celina and work in Richardson, 36 miles one way. Also, if you are familiar with Celina, there are not many conveniences nearby. I'm thinking this truck might be more attractive than one that had been previously modified. The Toyo tires were replaced at 24K and are not showing any significant wear at the moment. I have used Valvoline Full Synthetic every 3k with the exception of one change wear I used the Motocraft product.

You're joking right? Hate to break it to you, but it's worth about $21-22k and that's being overly generous.
I know you're probably upside down, so all I can say is... Good luck with that.

I hate to agree with Logan BUT as I stated in my PM - I just paid 27000 for a new 04 with 30 miles..
Check kbb.com or nada.com for a reasonable sales price but keep in mind that Ford is selling new ones for 27 subtract at least 1000 for HIGH miles and another $2000 for used and you are at 24k MAX...

After looking all over for 2 months and many offers that were turned down, I got this deal from a seller in Indiana:
I bought my truck 2 months ago:
All stock L with 2003 with 14000 miles for 22000.00 (black mint condition)
So I would assume you would get around 22k-23k
I did notice in my search that all used L on dealers lot were overpriced by 3k-4k or more. But they in the business to make money on cars. The used car dealers told me this stuff-I heard all the BS about how they were rare, not being made anymore so that increased price on used Lightnings, how dificult it was to find one int good shape, they were classics cars now, collectors trucks, they sell Lightning in just 3 days, etc. But I went back to the same Ford dealer(different salesperson) and told them I wanted to trade in my L for a mustang,I was told this-Its hard to sell Lightnings because they have such bad gas milage, young kids cant buy them because of high insurance, too hard to get loan on LIghtnings,Parts hard to find since they not being made anymore so on. He was trying to prep me up for the low trade in offer he gave me. I was just there to see what they say when you trade one in.Funny how when they have one for sale its so special, high demand but when you want to trade one in it might as well be a Yugo.
