For the first time in years I have been able to play around in the cold weather with out worrying about my engine. :tu:

My truck is nearing 1000 miles and on an entrance ramp I punched it and it felt real strong and it was especially nice to not have to worry about it ... :tu: :nana2

I agree, Doug. It's nice to not have that worry.

I'm enjoying the cold weather, too.http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

Be careful though... I know the stock tune is supposed to be designed to work in the worst conditions on Earth( or so Terry told me ), but when I had my stock truck dyno'd in 70 degree weather 13-13.5 (http://www.talonclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7158) on the A/f. I wonder what it would be in 30 degree weather.

Is it really the predator or just the user of the predator. Too easy for the owner to adjust stuff such as timing etc. and then forget about it or just be ignorant. As always it isn't the tool but the "Tool" that uses the tool :twitch:

I agree that in many cases its the owner that is the problem. maybe more clueless people buy predators.. who knows .. I just know that I have seen lots of motor issues associated with the predator... its common knowledge that the base pulley tune sent out with them is VERY VERY agressive and by itself has cratererd motors....

I'm sure I've had my stock '02 well into the sub-zero F temps (undocumented by pics) All the Great Lakes were frozen over, at the time. They said -13F via weather.com - daily driven at the time. That sort of cold makes your teeth ache!http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/redface.gif

Ran around quite a bit with 100+ F. temps in TX. in the L and then again to 15 F. down here.

All's good at nearing 30K miles. SVT says burning 1 qt. per 900 miles is fine, though.http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/cool.gif

Bought brand-new. Still running fine.
