I don't know, what time would be good for y'all? I was thinking somewhere around 11:00 or so.

How much do they charge? Is it above ground or below? It always scares me to watch them lift my truck up in the air on those narrow racks.

Saturdays, 3 pulls for 30 bucks. In the ground, no lifting. Mikes a really nice guy and doesnt try and rush you to get done.

I just called the shop and they since he has an inground dyno that they dont' want to get the drums wet. He said to come back next sat or the one after that and he'll hook us up $30.

It is for me and u and whoever else wants to go. But some of the guys probably won't go so I just threw that out there since thats what the guy on the phone told me.

I'm down from 407.60 hp 476.63 tq with my 4#'r to 389.08hp 446.13tq with a 6#'r and e-fan!

my views on h.p. is nothing but something to boost ego

did the a/f readings look good cause thats the most important numbers besides the 1/4 times

haven't dynoed my truck since the ported plenium, tranny or stall converter but, I was running 8.2's before and now im at 7.9's. so if there is a loss in power, ill take it because of the lower et

I'll try to take some pictures of them.(see thumnails) The A/F was right around 13.0-12.5 range. Which that is alot leaner than my first dyno!

Do you have a way to post both the dyno graphs? It might help us to see something that may be causing this.

The A/F's are dangerously lean. If you can, post the other set of dyno graphs.

BC Lightning

is this at the same dyno as you had before?

SpeedyBolt

I'll try, all I have is a digital camera.
Here is the deal, The first dyno was with a Diablo chip. I switched over to the SCT becuase of a detonation problem I was having. This is the first time I've dynoed it with the SCT. I'm sure Terry can figure out what needs to be changed in the tune. This was a baseline tune for him and me to see where we need to go from here! I was just shocked at how much lower it was!(overreacting) Terry told me that the MAF Housing I have is very hard to tune so that is probably the issue! I just need to get with him to see what to do next!

I have the same concers on my truck, I have a 95mm maf that is hard to tune with and is messing up my a/f numbers. I am switching to a SCT MAF here soon, (after I buy uncle ron's front runners on feb 15th knana ) because it uses the same housing as the stock maf it is easier to tune with and is alot more consistent.

Diablo is also tuned alot more aggressive than SCT. which is why people are having problems with detotnation and blown lower ends. I wouldnt worry about the numbers so much and get the a/f worked out. I'm sure it will pull great numbers at the track. :tu:

Yeah it's the same place.

Yeah I have the C&L 95mm MAF. I love the SCT, Like I said once everything gets where it needs to be it should run great. Just getting started though, trial and error. I would rather be safe than sorry!!!!!

You probably just need to talk to Terry on Monday....

The latest B.S. on MAF sensors just cracks me da fock up. I have no idea what kind of MAS you fellows have, but we where all doing just fine before the SCT Big Air came along to save the world...LMAO.

Granted it may be easier to tune for since SCT gives value files to the tuners for the SCT Big Air, but you can get files for Pro-M 92's and even the stock MAF too.

Just so's you fellers know, I didn't even need to upgrade my MAS untill I was hitting 475-500 H.P. and shoving 18-20 lbs of boost at my stock block.

Anyway....Terry can fix that tune right up. Maybe he has your timing set low so it wouldn't blow da fock up before he got the MAS set properly.

Rocks:beer:

Thanks Rocks! Like I said this is just a baseline to work from. It only gets better from here. Safety is always better than the alternative!

I hate those oddball MAF inlet tube thingys. The reason SCT MAFs are so nice is they are made by the OEM company and they have a true piedo tube style sensor. Unlike finiky PRO-M and C&L aftermarket meters which have no piedo tube or pickup of any kind and are hand built by those little kids who weren't lucky enough to sew soccer balls for 8 cents an hour. Those meters are all over the place at low CFMs. When a customer comes in with a funky MAF or had detonation issues and does not want to pay for a dyno tune. I have to give them a safe guesstimate for what they have. I tell them to go to a 30$ dyno day and bring me the sheet. I will make changes from that if they do not want a $400 dyno tune in house. I can easily get you 30 more HP with a Diablo style pinger:twitch: .

Run the Diablo and the SCT back to back on the same day and see the diff.
