There's also some boxing on Showtime, it starts at 9pm as well.

We'll have food and drink etc....the kegerator is already going http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/beerchug.gif

Can't even tell a brother in person!? Heh ... I'll try to be there (and leave Megan at home). I'll see if Nate wants to head out with me. http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/beerchug.gif

lol...I told you about it last time you guys came out after the comedy club.....we were all just a little tipsy http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/rofl2.gif

We told Nate and the crew when we were out there last, hopefully they'll make it out.

Megan's welcome, just tell her to bring her drinking shoes http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/beerchug.gif

As always, folks are welcome to stay if they don't wanna make the trip home. Although I think your usual BR has been rented already....lol

I used to watch UFC fights in the1990- 1995 era. I only remeber the the guy name Royce Graicie. He was so skilled in joint minupulation stuff. He made 6 foot 5 ,350 lbs guys beg for mery all the time. What ever happen to him? I quit watching UFC fight I think in 1995.

The sport has come a LONG way since then. There are no more fighting styles, because if you are going to win you have to pretty much be well versed in all styles. There are some major badasses walking around. The main event should be a good fight ... Tito Ortiz Vs. Vitor Belfort. http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/beerchug.gif

Jeez, UFC has change alot since I watch in the 1990-1995 era. I just read the UFC website. Rules in a match? When did they start that? There are now 31 rules in a fight. Wieght classes, rounds, ect. Why has the UFC change from the everything goes,no rules battles of 1990s?

Most of the changes are definitely for the better. It's a bit cleaner now and they wont let you roll around and wrestle and hold each other the whole fight anymore.

It's definitely evolved, much better showmanship and the it looks more like a high class boxing match than a backyard toughman competition .
