I got this issue a week ago.

If indeed its built by "Shelby of America" this will be an expen$ive Mustang... as much or more than the overpriced Saleen variants.

And since we know it will weigh more than the Mustang GT (which is 3520lbs itself) due to the larger engine, blower, wheels/tires, transmission, etc. it will take a lot more than 550hp to run with a 500hp Z06 that weighs 3100lbs or the Viper.

Don't get me wrong... _if_ indeed it is built, then it will be a great car. And Shelby will probably build a really good car compared to the recently neutered SVT division of Ford.

Hopefully this will be a Cobra R type car and they still make the regular SVT cobra. If indeed this replaces the current cobra altogether and they want it to compete with the Viper and new Z06 then undoubtedly it will be priced high.
