Those of you running a lot of race fuel may want to change your fuel filters every few tanks. Something in race fuel swells or breaks down the media and clogs them up faster. Fuel filters are too cheap not to replace often. A customer brought a 04 in the other day with 20K miles and you couldn't blow through the filter it was 90%blocked. He was running 12's on it the day before. Remember the fuel system is already small it does not need any extra restrictions. Always use a Motorcraft filter FG-986B. If you want I will supply the filter and change for $20 bucks. I recomend changing the filter every 10K or more often with use of race fuel.

wonder who Terry is talking about  .
Stock the filters and oil and I will just come to you instead of paying Kwik Kar to do it.

I am surpised it ran period. He could have leaned out on a race pass and blamed the tune when it was his lack of maintanance that caused his problem.

I've been meaning to change mine for a while but I put it off. Went to Bobby's parents house tonight and he changed it for me. Bobby couldn't even blow thru it!!! And you know that boy has some lungs on him.
