Howard is going to go with me again this year. We plan to pit near where Dennis and Company where pitted last year. It was too damned hot and noisy were we pitted last year.

I am going, but I haven't made up my mind if I am flying or driving. We had a nice spot last year and we should be there early enough to call dibbs in the same location. You blended in so well with the "Jersey Boys" last year, I never saw you. I will be piloting Fred's regular ole F-150. :evil

Just a regular ole F150....:rolleyes: . It should be fun. We remembered dropping by to see you fellers last year and what we remembered most was the temperature being 15 degrees cooler at your location. We found ourselves crammed between too darned many trucks.

My plan is to be there early Friday morning for tech. Just in case you aren't aware of it, Muscle Mustanges is having a party at Hooters Friday night. They buy the beer, soda and chicken wings. It was alot of fun last year.

Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords put on a free wings & beer event at the local Hooters. A few of the guys did burnouts in the parking lot.

I was able to make a test and tune run this afternoon in Flats Man's 4.6L 98 STX and ran a 12.46 @ 110mph. :tu:

We are having a good time here fellers. I sure wish more of you could have made it out here. I just left the track after making it to the next round ....(quick Ford). Things got real behind today and at 8:00 tonight they still had not called us up for the second round. Dennis and Fred(Flatsman) bailed out and left us there in the dark...:cool: ...so after waiting for 2 fricking hours Howard and I decided we didn't give a crap about Quick Ford any more....:hammer: .

Sunday is the main event anyway.......Time to get some sleep.

Howard said the spectators seem to get a kick out of it too. I think they like to see something besides Lightnings, going fast. That darned truck sounds Bad Ass when screaming down the trackknana.

A little burnout from my 1st round loss at FFW Orlando. The truck was off its dial by almost a half second due to an apparent valve spring break or something similar. Flats Man will be taking a look next week. :cool:
