Cervini's hood group buy

Last time we did this we needed at least three. Normally their hoods are 459 plus 125 truck freight each. When we bought three or more they knocked 100 bucks off per hood. I am not current on what models they make now. We chose between the 130 or 129 which was a ram air style or 3" cowl hood.
Here is the deal Cervini's only does 10% on small group buys, WD is 25% for orders of 30K or more. They have also passed on the shipping costs with the increase in diesel fuel costs etc..
Normally a hood is $439 plus 125-150 shipping these days total $560-590..
The deal we are getting is roughly $80-100 bucks off per hood which is a great deal for only 6 fricking hoods.
$480 is a cash price I have to pre pay for the entire order. With today being Tuesday I say Monday will be the day I mail the check for however many folks paid. There are several ways to get the funds to me, mail a check tomorrow it will arrive this week. PayPal plus their 3% fees due to the close margin on this buy. You can use your CC at the shop, come by with cash or check, mail it, bring it to Kennedale Sunday etc... Lets try to get the money together by Monday and get the ball rolling.:tu:

If all goes as planned it will be about $475 a hood to my shop. The underside is smooth and sexy as the top.

He did say that with high diesel fuel costs shipping has become a large expense and the more hoods we buy the better S&H prices. I need a list of who needs what and I need some deposits to make the order. I will post a poll to help ordering #'s possibly. Thanks! Remember they may take 4-6 weeks to build and ship! Last time they arrived in three week though.

I would like to join in, but in all honesty none of the hoods that Cervinis makes are to my liking. Besides, I don't want to be different like everyone else (seems like everyone has a cowl or ram air hood nowadays). When Cervinis makes something different and sexy, hook a brother up then. :D

When we say "they", are we talking about the manufacturer...or a distributer? If it's a distributer...fock em...use this as a chance to set up your own buy in.

I talked to Terry today and he said that the guy will do the hoods shipped for $480 since we only have 6. We will need the money upfront because the dealer wants to get paid before he ships. Normal price would be approx $600 shipped so this is still a good deal. If anyone bails out then the rest of us will have to pay more so don't be a bia. As soon as we get the money to Terry he will order them and get the ball rolling. I believe Terry accepts paypal. Don't sleep on this one because the rest of us are waiting.

I ordered the cowl hoods today. They should be here in about 3-4 weeks. Since we were short on the order the price is $10 more per hood between cost and shipping which is acceptable IMO. I originally told them we would purchase ten hoods and we did about 5. Anyway, they are in the works:tu:
