Will do, one of my first bikes was a Honda Hawk GT650, it had all of 40HP on it. (Before that was an 86 Ninja 900) Wasnt fast in a straightline but boy could I hammer on the throttle in the twisties. That was around the time the R1 was king of the hill and every squid from Fort Worth to Dallas had one. We would meet up on Sat Mornings in Arlington the go ride the back country roads. I'd always kill those guys in the twisties only to have them buzz by me in the straights. I cant remember if it was during one of the stops on that day, but one of the guys comes up to me and says. You have quite the R1 Eater there, What is it?

Next I got a Honda Superhawk. That thing was a fun Vtwin. Had it for awhile then moved up to the CBR929, had it for a year then when the 954 came out I got it. Sold it about a year later and now I'm a Yamaha Man.

What a lot of these young kids dont understand is that its not the power of the bike, its the skill of the rider that makes the machine fast. But these young guys, all they care about is having the bike with the most HP, the one the magazines claim is the best of the bunch. Never mind they wont be able to use 20% of the bikes potential..

There is also a group of riders up north of Dallas I used to ride with. They are part of the North Texas Audi Club. Go check out their forum, they are a bunch of nice guys..
