1. Go to www.teamxlink.co.uk
2. Setup an XLink account. (Make sure you check your email to validate the account)
3. Download XLink Kai.
4. Install XLink Kai.
5. Now make sure your PS2 is connected to the router. (More info on this on the website)
6. Run Xlink Kai setup.
7. Put in your Login name and PW and connect.
8. Click the small magifying glass on the top of Kai.
9. You should see your network on there (Your computer, which XLink server you are connected to, etc.).
10. Click the small folder looking thing below the magifying glass a little to the right.
11. Here you should see your PS2 and it should say "PS2 connected" or something like that. If not, you will see "No systems connected" or something like that.
12. Turn on your PS2 with GT4.
13. Go to options.
14. Go to Network options.
15. Here depending on if you want to host games or not, choose accordingly. (Best bet is to choose to host games and select all your preferences, then choose host=no)
16. Next go to LAN options.
17. Autoconnect=no and channel=1 (I think it was channel, I forget what it was called.)
18. Now go to race (The menu next to LAN options to the right.)
19. Select all the tracks to = YES. (It will not allow you to do all tracks, so just leave out the last one unless you work something out with whoever you are playing to play that last track.)
20. Go to Arcade mode.
21. Go to Multi-LAN.
22. Don't connect yet. Go back to Kai.
23. Join the PS2 network, then the GT4 network, then North America.
24. Here you will find tons of people and a bunch of "networks" to play in. Find someone to play with.
25. Once you find someone to play with and have a private network setup between you (two-six) hit connect on the GT4.
26. Once all players are connected, track selection will appear.
27. Select the track (If you are able to, someone else might be in control of that.)
28. Select vehicle.
29. Race online.
