Is He willing and able to wind it to about 4500 and dump the clutch without bogging or spinning ?

I raced a Boxster S a few times and he was never willing to dump the clutch enough to even come close - Most Porsche guys wont

Unless it a GT2 or GT3 you should smoke him, especially from a dig....highway you may have some trouble.

You will have a serious disadvantage to all 911's on the highway. Even the non turbo ones will do close to 175 and they handle like a race car. The turbo 911's are guided missles and will get right up to 200MPH

Porsches are low torque machines and their gear boxes are not great for 1/4 mile stuff. 0 to 80ish you will have an advantage. After mid 3rd gear it should be see ya.
