I got this email today -
Team Squid Racing is having our second annual car show, SquidFest, and would greatly appreciate it if you would list us on your website, or let your members know about the event. Not only will this be a fun afternoon with door prizes and plenty of giveaways, but this year is a bit different. The American Red Cross will be there a good portion of the afternoon for a blood drive, this means that the show will have quite a bit of media attention.
Burger Island is one of our sponsors for the show, and will be giving great discounts on food and drinks to event participants. More information and pictures of previous events can be found at www.teamsquid.net (http://www.talonclub.com/forum/www.teamsquid.net). The information on the show is as follows:
Time: 11-5pm
Date: Saturday, May 21st
Location: Burger Island
Address: 525 W. Arapaho Rd., Richardson, Texas 75080
Cost: $15 to enter show ($10 if you give blood) – Spectators get in free.
Classes: (1st and 2nd place receive trophy) Domestics 1970’s and older Domestics 1980’s and newer Imports 1980’s and older Imports 1990’s and newer Trucks all years
We will also be giving out the following awards: (Each receives a trophy)
Best of Show
Best Domestic
Best Import
Best Project
So come on out and have a great time, see some cars, and help the community.
