here we go again . . . . :hammer:

The owner of the truck is a guy in Flordia named Craig, He posts up on SRT-10 Forum as SRT10x3. He at one time owned 5 srt-10s, 3 Quad Cab SRT-10s, a couple Busas, and i think about 15-20 other cars. The pic he posted in front of his house with all his cars was pretty amazing.

Back on topic, a 10 sec run is pretty impressive no matter what it is in. Did you see how it jerked when he threw it in second. I have and will always give credit where credit is due and that thing is fast. Of course it will always cost more to mod that truck, cause your dealing with 2 more cylinders, two turbo chargers, and a t-56 tranny in a truck. The SRT-10's were never set up as a drag race truck like the Lightning, so to see something like that run a 10 is like seeing a TT 427 Vette, 9 sec street/drag gen 1 camaro, and so on. I'm not disagreeing on the price because $100,000+ is pretty outrageous to spend on a truck, however he is not spending out of his means. I know of one Lightning personally that will give that Ram trouble.:evil No matter what people do or write about the SRT-10s the will always get a bashing from Fords, because for 93-95, 99-04 there was no competition except for the cyclone and typhoon, later the Silverado SS and SSR.

Anyways this obviously won't be the last thread or post about how the Lightning is so much better, better price, etc. etc. etc. :hammer:

I have a question for everyone. If I where to post a vid, and title it..9.9 second run. The vid then shows me going down the track for a 100 yards or so...against a different vehicle than I started with...and cuts off before you see the times. Would anyone call...BULLSH!T:rll: .

Maybe it's true...but I want to see the times as the truck goes through the traps on video.
